About us

I Have always wanted to be a Fire Fighter. When I was of legal age i joined a fire dept. here in Nova Scotia. Then came an opportunity I could not pass up. A job offer to Alberta was offered, i moved there and became a 911 dispatcher. I also joined the local Fire Dept. there and was soon introduced into towing.

I then joined AMA (Alberta Motor Association) where I  was able to further my skills with better customer training to provide excellent service.

I remember one occasion, I was told by a fellow tow truck operator, people who call a tow truck are having a bad day, when we arrive it's the worst day of their life. I knew I wanted to change that! 

When I moved back home to Nova Scotia I knew I wanted to start my own business. Quickie Roadside is that result.

The goal of Quickie is just that, Quick service  in a fast moving world that does not always require a tow truck
